A dose of reality for Iowa football

If anyone thinks we r in good hands with a 113th ranked offense, I say keep dreaming all the way to the bottom of the big ten(which sucks!)

with Banks,Iowa was rated 103rd nationally Offensively, when they faced USC in KF'S 1ST OB season

also under TATE in 2004 Iowa's offense was rated 83rd with 2 other teams
with Stanzi in 2009 OB winning seasons the Offense was rated 83rd
Iowa has never been a strong point on offense, KF teams win with Defense

Herby, you dumb mother ******, show a link to where Iowa was ranked 103rd on offense with Banks at QB.

My God. How does one stop the sheer idiocy?

these all come fron ESPN data base on stats, and these are based on the info from the Iowa's Sportsinfo department, Idon't have to make these up

is that all you can do is rely on name calling?

Who's ignoring the facts in this thread, again?

Rarely will I resort solely to name calling. However, I won't hold back when my claim that you're an idiot can be backed up by the stats.

As a rule during the past 8 years - Hawks play close games - PERIOD... (play to the level??)
That's the style, mentality, constant talk of execution - how you win close games
I've just resigned myself to the fact that most of Hawk games will be win/lose with 4:00 minutes left and how many of those can we win....

2009 Orange Bowl Champs
UNI- 2 blocked FG's
Ark St - win by 3
Mich - win by 2
Mich St - win on final play
ind - win w/ crazy 4th qtr on windy day
Ohio St - lose in OT
NW - lose on Stanzi injury
10-2 Reg season - could have easily been 5-7 (w/ 2 losses to CMich-like teams)

This year w/ 6:00 left and 1 possession to win / lose
N. Ill win 2:00 left
Ia St lose by 3, drop in end zone
CMich lose by 1 - never again
Mich St tie w/ 1:00 left, win OT
Ind lose by 3
Purd lose on final play
Neb lose by 6, ball w/ 4:00 left at 42

Could have been 9-3 w/ NEAR PERFECT Execution.. will not change
---------------------------
on a side - as much as this season drives us all crazy - everyone in our Section 136, Row 36 - all said we'd be back buying season tickets next year - The event of Hawkeye football is greater than the wins/losses
