ESPN has a list out and it's stupid

Well...not to get too technical here, but Jeremy Shockey and Jimmy Graham alone combined for over 14,600 yards. I guess Shockey's first year was '02 so you can take 800 yds out of the total. There is no doubt that Iowa is Tight End U at this time. Going back to '98 shouldn't factor in at all.

    Visitor's section at Camp Randall

Oh I understand...I've been up there three times and haven't actually bought tix to go in because of how bad the treatment was outside the stadium, would only assume it'd be worse inside. Since I'll be sitting with my wife I'd like to know that I was surrounded by some hawk fans.

    Visitor's section at Camp Randall

Does anyone know which sections and seats at Camp Randall are typically visitors?

    Campbell video

Yep, that one. Where he also sleeps in his office and flies to see recruits in a 1940's, ridiculously painted, prop plane.

    Campbell video

Can anyone find that Campbell video from December 2015 when he was introduced? It was one of the more embarrassing "hype" videos I've ever seen. It appears to have been scrubbed online. I can only find screenshots...

Do stars matter? Pro-bowlers star rankings

Actually, your math is incorrect. You're only factoring one year of "star rankings" and 4-5 years of available scholarship players. The number of 4-5* guys across the 128 teams would actually be 1200+...not factoring in attrition.

Iowa fan and Michigan player exchange punches

The original poster is correct. An jerk___ fan pushed Stribling in the helmet. He deserved to get taken out...luckily for him there were other people there.

RV parking pass for ISU wanted

Just putting a feeler out there to see if anyone had an RV pass they weren't going to use for the Iowa State game. Thank you in advance.

    ISU

Pfft, please... A meltdown isn't warranted because the clones will easily be the lesser team in that game. I would actually have respect for a clone who would "position" themselves for a loss because they would be admitting the inferiority of their team. Regardless, I'm clearly not a clone.

    ISU

An epic meltdown won't really be warranted since ND St. will be the better team in that game, and is clearly better than UNI was last year. Remember these are the defending national champions who also beat a pretty decent KState team last year.

Iowa v N Illinois Two Deep

Sorry Northern Illinois, we asked for your two deeps, not your roster.

Penn State will beat Iowa in Iowa City

Interesting, I thought Penn State was going to beat us in Happy Valley.

Being at the game can be soooooo annoying...

In those 3 years we have a BCS appearance and victory. We have been fortunate enough to have a football coach who could raise our level of expectations to a point where the last couple of years could be considered "bad football."

This is the best ESPN 'This is Sportscenter' Ad, Ever

So many good ones over the years, but this one wins and it's not even close.

    Kinnick stadium (opposing players)

Apparently, opposing players don't like the "closeness" of the sidelines. Kinnick factor: Yes, they can hear you | TheGazette I guess that's why Vegas usually factors in 5 to 6 points for Kinnick's home field advantage. Let's make it loud out there.

My thoughts on ISU after watching their game v Tulsa

NIU's d-ends were VERY quick and created a lot of disruption. I just don't think that ISU's d-line will be able to create the same types of problems. Still not sure how our defense will do against them, but confident that our offense will be better.

HawkeyeGameFilm Reviews Iowa Defense from Saturday

I was always a fan of Norm Parker's fundamental, low-risk, make-a-tackle defenses. Allowed for the team to make plays and didn't typically leave players on an island to give up big plays. I'll be interested in seeing how many big plays we give up this year, if we do increase the...

If Someone Told Me After the 2009 season

I respectfully disagree with your assessment that we've "relied" on the RB position... in the last decade, the two primary seasons where we had no bell-cow at RB (2004 & 2009) were arguably 2 of our best. But DL...no doubt.

    Hawkeye fans going to Chicago!!!

Was just there this weekend and ran into another Iowa bar I didn't know existed...The Big City tap. On the corner of Belmont and Sheffield. Large bar, with lots of Iowa accoutrements.
