Never did get Iowa over the hump. But man 2002-2005 was pretty fun to be an Iowa fan.

Why would you want a coach who is so bad that is going to be fired, coaching up your kids for the next 6 weeks.

Correct this offensive failure started last year. The coaches had a chance to change QBs at the beginning of the year or game two when everyone realized Petras wasn’t it. Iowa does it when the backup has no chance at success.

How many reps has Padilla had with the first team this year? Comparing that to third year Petras is fair? Knowing that Petras isn’t moving the needle they could have had Padilla starting 6 weeks ago gaining experience against South Dakota and not Ohio State.

I could read Urban Meyers thoughts. Dude is going to go back to coaching and his first call is going to be Phil Parker.

The ideal situation would have been to put Padilla in at the end of the game and let him start next week. I am expecting the Ferentz's to say, see Padilla is not vetter option and continue to start Petras next week. Wondering what Padilla would have looked like with two weeks of prep leading...
