Is Charlie somewhat regretting his decision?

Nope.
I would suspect he is even more entrenched.
No doubt he feels a little sting at the moment. But nothing that close to regret.

I felt that our D kept Jones in front of them as much as possible and let him have his stats. He got 104 yds. but no TDs.

Uhh...no.
That said, he's not a big guy, and the the incredibly high # of hits he's taken this season (for a WR) are really taking a physical toll on him. He'll have lots of great film to show NFL scouts from the first half of this season, but I don't see him dominating every team he faces the rest of the way like he did in earlier games.

You jilted?

For those of you sore at Charlie...

Per Rob's article quote from KF. "Charlie plays with reckless abandon". That was not a compliment considering who said it.

Per Nico Ragaini..."I knew Charlie was good". That tells it all.

Charlie made the right choice. He was not a good fit for this coach/system.

The system needs questioned more than Charlie.

Does anyone know how many turnovers Charlie has this year?

Iowa year in and year out has about 90 percent of a team suitable for the playoffs (minus some depth). The 10 percent changes a lot. Question the system. Not Charlie. Found myself rooting for him in a weird way since I wanted Iowa to win.

Iowa the past 3 years has struggled to stop Purdue by keeping them in front. They moved the chains. Not today.

I wasn't necessarily rooting for Charlie, but I agree with everything else. Football is changing.

Ultimately, it won’t matter. Charlie is not an NFL level receiver. Maybe not even close.
Punt returner... Wes Welker. Similarities. Charlie is a bit faster in the 40. Nobody thought he'd make it. Wasn't drafted. Jones is getting drafted...late

He is setting himself up nicely for an NFL roster spot, will be over 1000 yards this year with over 100 receptions. That is a good year

I could see Bill Belichick drafting him late

1 or 2 catches a game and an insurance salesman gig or 10+ catches 150+ yards and a shot at the NFL.
Are you serious?
