I get that you are quoting what the rules say. Surely though you could find an example of a guy who was able to play but did not for whatever reason, and was denied a medical hardship waiver do to the fact that he was able to play. You say "how they are interpreted" yet provide no proof that is...

If I am not mistaken he is something like 5th or 6th in TDs, and 10th in yards. He could very conceivably be on this list. Unfortunately for him his team lost to ISU and Minnesota. Blackmon is going to win this thing though.

This highlights why there should not be names on these trophies, or at least make it a requirement that they are dead people. Not sure how they could put Bo or Woody on there since they are already on the coach of the year award. It seems that since Stagg was from the UofC though they could...

This line of reasoning my lead to the State Farm B1G Campionship Trophy, or the Nabisco B1G Championship Game MVP Trophy. Maybe we should be careful what we wish for. ;)

I was just about to ask if anyone remembered what tool it was who was saying there was no way they took his name off the trophy. Looks like I have my answer. What putz that guy is.
