I can see what you mean but not necessarily. I am 30 and still do a ton of cleans, squats, snatches and jerks and my joints are healthier than they ever have been since football. Iowa now has 3 dudes who will play several downs at reciever who are 6-2 or taller... At least I think so. That kind of size I don't ever remember us having at reciever.

there was some interesting comments from ferentz about powell during the last press conference. like he is expected to contribute more on offense this year from tremondous offseason work. excited about that and anything involving canzeri on offense.

I am really excited about scheel. I think he is one of the those qb turned recievers that is going to be a really special player. Especially with the depth at reciever, I think he has a real opportunity to compete there next year even.

I was just thinking the same thing about White's role last night. When he gets to the low post area, generally good things happen (10-10 FT). And the excellent three point shooting benefits from this.

I agree we have less talented skill players, that is obvious, but we clearly have a trenches advantage. Even the posters on the LSU board will admit this. If Iowa can keep the explosive plays to a minimum, we can certainly win.

I think if it is very difficult weather wise, I think that might actually help Iowa. It would make it a physical drag out fight, and with the way Michigan has been playing(soft), I like our chances with that. It would take away some of the deep threats mich presents.
