.....ESPN
Thought about doing the staycation thing to watch the game...but since the game is at noon how would you do that with a hotel? Usually check out is like Noon......Pretty pricey to spend two nights just to watch the game.

Speaking of this, it will be nice to hear some NFL perspective on some of the players for our team from Gruden.... mainly Scherff and our linebackers.
How about do an early check in at noon on Jan 1st. No need to stay two nights.
A lot of hotels basic enough to have the game will let you check in early if they arent full
Whatever happened to the days of going to the local watering hole and getting brunk while watching the game/hitting on some fugly women folk!?
just google first row sports (one word). my son is watching the SD chargers online right now.

Is this a pretty good bet for the Outback? How is the quality?

Agree w/ this. It's a pretty good bet at a sports themed restaurant. Watched the B!G championship at a BWW in Lexington Park Maryland. Pretty annoying that was. Had a table of Buckeyes in front of us and a table of Spartans behind us. The waitress asked us who we were for and we replied we were just there for "bowl slotting". The game was on at least half of the TVs in the place which kind of surprised me. Not much competition for the Outback at kickoff so I think your chances would be pretty good. I recommend the "Hot BBQ" sauce...I agree with the general point here, find a bar or restaurant with the game on. Best bet is likely a chain restaurant with a couple dozen tvs, odds are they will turn one on to ESPN for you.
Most of the hotels i frequent have hourly rates so I'm good to go. Nothing like watching the hawks beat up on the sec with hookers and blow. Merry x mas to you
