Agreed. JC has been a true Hawkeye through thick and thin, and I've enjoyed watching him play and grow with the Iowa Hawkeyes. Hopefully he will stick around the community, but wherever he goes after he graduates I wish him all the best. Now go out and have a KICKASS season Jaryd! GO HAWKS!

Eric Katenda would be my first choice for this spot, but I'd also rather have Ross Travis at the wing then because he is way more explosive, has better handles and is as good of a shooter as Uthoff. Why the heck didn't Travis get an offer???

What folks are saying that? Scout just dropped their top 100 a few weeks ago and neither Uthoff or Oglesby are on the list. I wouldn't put them in the top 100. Oglesby maybe somewhere in the 125-150 range and Uthoff maybe somewhere between 150-175, maybe. And those would be respectable...

Although the high-major potential is definitely there it sounds like the injury bug is a problem of concern and the staff will follow closely in the next couple months.

I'll ask around, and see what is what with the Hawkeyes recruitment and get back. I think it also depends it also depends on whether or not Katenda accepts his Hawkeye offer as well since they would play the same position.
