As always, I do not claim any of the info in this post. I have copied it from posters on Twitter...with that said, here is what happened tonight.

Zach McCabe: 23 points, nine rebounds.
Eric May: 12 points, including game-winner against Gaten's team 74-72 which means there is a 4 way tie for first place, and six boards

Matt Gatens: 35 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists.
Andrew Brommer: 6 points, including a great dunk that had Cole tweeting about it on a put back from a missed three point shot, and eight rebounds.

In the early game, Marble had 19 points & 7 rebounds after arriving late. Apparently he had issues with getting a ride to the game...

Cully Payne: 15 points, 14 assists...Payne's team won 105-87 over Marble's

Archie did not play for some reason...

Melsahn Basabe: 36 points and 18 rebounds in a winning effort 102-100 and his team is one of them that is tied for first...

I was at the PTL last night. Some quick observations before my bosses see me on HN.

Marble - was late to the game like the OP said. This was the first time seeing Marble in action for me and my goodness was I Impressed. He was inserted in to the game after having no warm-up and just took over. I was extremely impressed with his outside shot and ability to drive to the hoop. His handles are good enough where i could see him spelling cully and bryce at the point this year. Was also very impressed with his on ball defense. Very long and lanky and active on the ball, came away with a couple sweet steals. Watching him play i kept being reminded of how similar his game is to Jake Kelly's.

Cully Payne - a little out of control tonight at times although made enough WOW plays to make me forget. Cully's quickness is very underrated. He showed time and time again the ability to take his man off the dribble. Finishing for him has been a problem in the past but he seemed to take it hard to the hoop tonight and finished very well.

Brennan Cougil - Now please don't rip on me for this but watching him play last night i wont miss him one bit. If memory serves me i think he had 3 points at half time and one rebound that bounced out to him while he was roaming around the 3 point line. showed no hustle and absolutely no aggressiveness when catching the ball on the block. looked to pass every time he got it down there. I can understand what he's going through but if anything at least pretend to try out there so it looks like you're not also giving up on basketball like you gave up on your grades.

Anthony James - Extremely impressed with the UNI product. Unbelievably quick with the ball and on defense. Was knocking down the outside shot with ease. He's going to be a really good player for UNI this year and in years to come

Jordan Stoermer - Technically a walk-on but his play is nothing of the sort. Both times watching him this summer i was extremely impressed with his jumper and last night opened my eyes to his ability to take it to the hoop. At times he was running the point with Cully off the ball and did a serviceable job.

Did not get to see much of Basabe's game however i watched the last 4 minutes or so and was again amazed with his game. If this kid isn't starting from day one i will be absolutely shocked. Not suprised with the number of points reported that he scored. He was dominant in the last minutes i saw as i expect he was the entire game.
