I saw this morning that this story is on the Yahoo news scroll.

So that would make: West: Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Northwestern, Illinois, Wisconsin East: Maryland, Rutgers, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State With Purdue and Indiana being split up. My guess is Purdue to the West and Indiana to the East.
