Somebody failed Logic 101....you. But I'll play. Many more players don't go to Duke, UNC, KU, UCONN and Texas than do go there. So it's perfectly clear that players prefer to go to schools where there isn't competition for playing time. ;) And is ISU now in the same league as Duke, UNC...

And if Iowa State's roster is as stacked as Clones fan claim, how will Mr. Gibson ever see the court at ISU?

I'm as big a Fran fan as anyone, but the last thing this program needs is a fanbase that's willing to turn a blind eye to recruiting failures. In fact, this program needs just the opposite...a fanbase that demands improved recruiting and better athletes. If Fran can't get it done with the...

Does anybody actually know anything about Glover? Why did he go JUCO? And why for only 1 year? Who offered him out of high school?

It's amazing how little respect these kids have for our program. We're basically a last resort in case no other BCS or elite mid-major programs offer. And that's after Fran and staff have been recruiting a kid for a year...which does not speak positively of Fran's ability to sell the program.

Good recruiters can get talent to the worst of programs. Kansas State and Tenn. come to mind. And it's not like we're competing with powerhouse programs anyway. We're losing players to mediocre programs like NC State, Oklahoma State, etc.

Rondo was a 5 star prospect coming out of high school.

I'm beginning to think Fran and his staff have trouble closing the deal with recruits. To date, Fran has received a committment from one recruit (Oglesby) with other BCS offers and he lived a few miles up the road from Iowa City. Harris, Stokes, Katenda, Cezar, Carter, etc. No committments...

Fran disagrees with you. He said he will not recruit "projects" to Iowa. In related news, it turns out Iowa has not offered Washpun.

I sure hope you're wrong about Washpun or Howe is wrong about the offer. Because we should NOT be recruiting players that aren't immediately ready to contribute.

Define "develop". Does someone that needs to develop get playing time? If so, how is a developing player any different than any other player that is getting better as they go?

On his coaches show, Fran compared White to Basabe in that a year from now people are going to wonder why Aaron White didn't have more offers.
