The challenge of turning the Iowa program around and possibly a pay raise (if Iowa is as flush as everyone says. Hiring another mid-major coach would have epic fail written all over it.

Barbee went to Butler games as a kid long before they were any good, that's the extent of his familiarity with the Butler Way. As you can see from his undisciplined, erratic teams the Butler Way has not influenced his coaching style at all.
