Fran knows how to articulate the game of basketball extremely well. Better than just about any coach out there. He tells it like it is. He coaches through the media in some regards, too. I like that, to know what a coach is thinking makes the sport all the more interesting, IMO.

Next year will be the bigger problem for Caff. McCabe & Basabe's minutes will continue to decline, barring injury. Uthoff will need to play the 3, and Jok play the 2. Hopefully Uthoff can defend the 3, and Jok can nail the 3. That is what we will need out of them.

I hope Illannoy is loaded with young talent at PF. Trying to get a legacy player is next to impossible, unless the playing time will be limited, or the team stinks. Hopefully there were other players there too.

I agree with you talent, they need to be on the floor together for a majority of the time they are in. Overlapping a good 65% give or take. This tandom will come together nicely as the season rolls on. Fran needs to exploit that.

We are definitely a better team than the last two years. Both of those teams had quality wins. So, it is safe to say we will have quality wins this year. It is also safe to say we will have some bad losses, of which we have not had, yet.

Gary Barta just lost his job next year. KF will be here at least another 2-3 years. Anything like this season, and GB will be collecting unemployment....
