I think this is exactly what happened and I would bet good money that many players would be diagnosed with this if they were tested by medical professionals. I would also speculate that the hospitalization is precautionary in the vast majority if not all the cases.

In a word; scared.

It was a timed test. They weren't conditioning for the season. Only a moron who's never trained (see Matt P's picture) would think a professional like Doyle would be instituting some "extra" conditioning during the winter workouts. Absurd.

Dibona said it was "timed". I took this to mean that it was a test and you do 100 as fast as you can. Oh, and don't worry, you'll be sore in about 24 hours.

As I was watching the game last night, I had the same thought. Why basketball? In football you don't have to dribble. It's so frustrating watching him catch the ball at the arc, dribble to just below the freethrow line and then pass it.....over and over and over.

It was posted on here ealier that Reiff is a projected first rounder in the 2012 draft......that is some speculation worth passing on to Cyrus.

That's pretty cool to see. It's getting hard to watch the NFL and NOT see a former hawk. Kirk has it rolling.
