The thing that gives me hope with Basabe is that he played with passion more often than not last year, it just has not carried over. It isn't something he needs to create, it's something he needs to rediscover. I'm just not going to hold my breath.
If Basabe doesn't get the fire in his belly I would expect him to less and less time.
I would prefer he get it together, we have seen what he can do when he gets after it. He is fun to watch when he is active and involved.
I decided to take it as encouraging that this team could play that poorly on the road and still win by nine. It has probably been four years since we could that, against anybody.
Here is your original post on the subject. It was only after you were called on it that you mentioned the number of hours but you gave no context for that (i. e. comparing those hours to what is allowed during the season).
First of all that is not true in terms of the team and coaches all together.
Second, to the extent that they are allowed, there is a difference between practicing and practicing for an upcoming opponent. We talking about practice.
