Many good points have been made in this thread. The only thing I'll chime in with is my extreme distaste for ticket brokers that buy hundreds of tickets with no intention of actually using them. I'm not sure this is the case for Iowa games but I know it is rampant with professional sports...

The original post upset me at first too but then I considered the possibility that this seller had to make a donation to obtain those seats. Even a modest donation of $2,000 would equate to $285 per game. So if this guy is trying to recoup his donation, maybe that price isn't that bad...

Come on...we all know a person of middle eastern descent would stick out like a sore thumb inside Kinnick Stadium. I grew up in Iowa but now live in Indianapolis and coming back for games makes you realize just how undiverse Iowa is.

I remember it not being as cold as I expected. After psu 2008 I was dreading the Michigan forecast so I bought a bunch of those handwarmer things. However I did not end up using them. Psu 2008 was like antartica. Everything else mild in comparison.

I like the retro Herky but hate, repeat hate, Under Armour. Talk about ridiculously overpriced and overhyped. Mainly, I refuse to buy their product due to their absurd commercials like Ray Lewis screaming "We gotta protect this house."
