At #5 with a 2 seed is disappointing? 4 losses were to Gonzaga, Illinois (2), and Michigan... all in Top 4!!! Iowa has played them all except Baylor. So we know where they stand. I have 6 capable of winning it all. Gonzaga, Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Kansas and Oklahoma St.

So it sounded like the Gopher fans were chanting “We hate Iowa”. Does anyone know if this is the only team they do this towards or do they chant this at other teams? If it is just the Hawkeyes... I guess that is cool!

Seriously! What was the time out for? Why fouling for four seconds with no call? Why Coach Underwood not shaking hands? Why an Illini assistant talking smack at handshake? What in the world is going on? Great call by Coach Fran to just get them off the court. Boo Illini.

A few years ago Coach Izzo called Iowa players weak and soft. I think that changed the way Fran practiced/coached/recruited.

Towards the end of the game... when Joe T was bringing up the ball, Connor was getting instruction from dad and met Joe T with it. Solid... it is very nice having an athletic coach on the floor. The Hawkeyes probably don’t win games like this without a player like Connor.

With a 3-2 away record, the Hawkeyes are currently the only Big Ten team with a winning away record. Very tough to win on someone else’s court.
