Almost Glad....I said in the middle of the 4th "I hope we lose this game." He deserves this everytime we play them....Just add another game to the list. But oh I forgot he wins so many games he shouldn't.
I have come to understand that KF plays non-con like preseason. Plays it straight up so he can show how bad execution lost the game.
Not saying I think he hopes team will lose, but don't think he minds in the long run.
This team has a bunch of guys that need to get WAAAYYY better. Best way to get there are reps and film.

This isn't the NFL. One Loss takes you out of the Nat'l Champ game automatically. 2 Losses relegate you to a mid-tier bowl and 3 losses just sucks.

Sure he can.. Iowa football brings in 50 Million in revenue.
It doesn't mean we like the decision, but he gets away with anything if he averages 7 wins a year because we will continue to pump money into the program.

+1. This is 2009 @OSU all over again - afraid to go for a FG to win it in regulation. Plus afraid to go for it on 4th and 1 in overtime and settle for a FG when ISU is scoring TD's on EVERY possession.
Playing not-to-lose will get you beat every damn time.

Iowa is going to lose more the 2 and 3 games. I'm thinking 7-5 or 6-6. So then Caar can claim this was a KF teaching season during week 12.

Paying $3+ million a year to go 7-5? That is ridiculous.
I'll say it - Until KF decides to start putting teams away and not always making the safe choice, we will ALWAYS lose at least 1-2 games every year to a team we have NO business losing to.

Two biggest disappointments ... Our dline ... Worst dline since Kirk's first and second year ... The other: siting on the ball at the end of regulation ... I would rather Vandy toss an interception than play for overtime and have ISU continue to make us look silly on defense. You don't put the ball back in his hands after he has tourched us in the air and on the ground all frickin game ... Go for the win!
