I don't see OSU, he hasn't visited. I think he has visited 3 schools, Iowa, Indiana and Michigan and I think/hope those are what it will be down to.

i just don't see iowa in it. personally, if he's only listing his final 3 instead of choosing (which he originally said he was going to pick by mid-July, I'd say he's actually waiting to see if KU, UNC and or Duke offer. Even if he does list Iowa, it would be a handcuff because he isn't going to pick Iowa over any of those other schools and fran can't go after a pg as long as iowa is still "in it" which we really aren't. that's my opinion.

I don't think Carton will list any team that isn't still in the running. I'd bet Indiana and Michigan make the cut, the mystery is the 3rd team. If it is Iowa (as I suspect/hope), then I'd say Iowa sit just as good as they others. I mean he has taken official visits to those schools and left without committing, so one could argue that isn't a great sign for them.

agree to disagree. unless this is the worlds greatest keep it close to the vest in-state kid not giving any kind of a vibe for the state school, i haven't heard buzz one of carton to iowa. iowa has always been right in from of the "." when they list the schools carton could choose.

Ok, so he won't make DJ's top 3 because you haven't heard buzz of Carton to Iowa.

We will know more tomorrow. I'm betting if Iowa makes the cut tomorrow and is in his top 3, you will still be of this same opinion.

my gosh, dean, do you always just have to be an ass? are you incapable of cordial back and forth disagreement? if you're just naturally an ass, then i apologize as you can't help it. but if you're trying to be an ass, then you're a dick.
 




If it's not Iowa then it will be good to know by tomorrow. I hope he's not just including Iowa to appease the locales. That hurts our chance to move on to another prospect. I don't blame him if he did though, who wants to deal with the lunatic internet fringe that would attack him.

I mean some silver lining there but likely means Iowa will roll with JBo and Connor next year at PG again. Good players just not going to beat a lot of teams with better PGs and quickness at guard.
