Who gets further in NCAA tourney: Sparty or Iowa?

Izzo will have them locked in per usual come tourney time, but let's pump the breaks a bit... They just lit up Northwestern, Rutgers and a struggling Michigan team that has quickly turned into a tire fire on offense. Not exactly a three game stretch against a bunch of world beaters.

I think I want to change my answer. I don't care about history and the name on the jersey. Mateen Cleeves and Mo P ain't playing and Izzo can do a lot but he at the end of the day we have the jimmy and the joes.

Iowa is the better and more experienced team. We proved it on the floor twice. Games like today remind me how good this Iowa team is and they don't let the bad teams hang around even on the road.

For MSU, its all about if they can get away with their physical style on defense. They also may struggle with the fact that their PG isn't as good as what they're used to.

Michigan State has lost early in the tournament too. It's a one and done thing so it happens. Always pick the better team as the team more likely to make a run and it's possible that we're the best in the country.

Wish I could disagree, but if we dont right the ship pretty quick, chances of playing a more favorable seed are dwindling. Even now, a 3/14 matchup seems the best we can hope for (memories of Northwestern State still haunt .......).
