Tremendous talent, 4 star recruit, big rugged power forward great athlete, NBA body, that was the good news, kicked out of DeLasalle high in mpls. for cheating, won a state championship his senior yr at Hopkins in the twin cities, got busted in the mall of america last fall with a buddy for shoplifting $20 of clothes and then got into it with a mall cop, 2 weeks later was involved with a stolen laptop from a different dorm room, immature or a thug?

I think this is something we are going to have to get used to with FM. He comes from an urban background and has a connection with kids that might not have had the most stable backgrounds.

He held a scholarship at Minny. There is NO chance that Iowa is interested in him unless the kid is going to pay his way. We just went through this with Bust and unless Fran is firing a warning shot at the other programs (which he may be) then I doubt we have any more interest in him than he does in us.
 








No way. I'm ashamed this kid won the state's Mr. Basketball. Many more-deserving kids were passed over for this. A great talent. Also a great waste of talent.
 




Sure hope it's not us, no matter how good he might be he's a punkass piece of crap based on his actions and re-affirmed by his words. If he became part of the Iowa program that would be horrible and I would no longer believe that Fran was the right guy for the job.

Sometimes you recruit someone who turns out to be a worthless piece of crap, like Bonecrusher Williams...this time we know he's no good from the get-go. It better be Iowa State that wants this worthless thug.
 




No way that story is accurate. The writer either meant to say Iowa State (or some other school) or he wanted to mess with Iowa fans, and in this thread he succeeded.
 


Freddy Hoiberg has been up there the past few years so I'm sure he got to see the silky thief (allegedly) in action up there.....wouldn't be shocked if it were ISU
