Seems like allot around here overacted to Michigans blow out of Iowa.
Da Vagers should be seen as guaranteed winners for the game at Carver, it isn't nearly as formidable as Assembly Hall.
I will come back and post just as I have all season

I cannot disagree with the ranking, but I still think Michigan is the best team in the Big Ten.
Don't sleep on the Gophers.
Really?
You had a grand total of 11 posts between 12/20 and 1/14.
You have had 9 posts since last night.
F'in troll.
What else happened during that time?!!! Ever hear of Christmas and New Year's? I've got a family buddy, my life isn't all sports. Besides Wisconsin didn't lose a game in that time frame anyway.

Not in basketball, I seem to remember the Badgers once again embarassing the B10 out in the Rose Bowl.
Guaranteed winners? Umm, no. Not even close.
The things that bothers me about this board is lack of perspective. People here thought that since Iowa beat Wisconsin twice last year that somehow Iowa was on this huge upward trajectory and Wisconsin was on a steady decline downward to 1980's levels. Forget the fact that Bo Ryan is a great coach that has done things in this league over a decade that no other coach has ever done, even Bob Knight. That's not a flash in the pan.
Tuesday nights game was 1 win, a great win and a signature win but it was 1 win. If Wisconsin loses at Carver it will be 1 loss, just 1. I will come back and post just as I have all season and I'll still be saying relatively the same things. A single game is not going to change my mindset for an entire season. You have to take everything combined.
Michigan is still the best team in the BIG. They have the most talent and a coach who knows how to use it.
You come around trolling, and you wonder why people throw those two wins in your face?
That and I think your coach acted in an unethical manner by talking trash to Sports Illustrated and then using runners/back channels to try and influence a player to leave an opposing program. If a player doesn't want to be here then I have no problem with them leaving. Absolutely none. Just do it the right way and don't run to every Iowa beat writer with a twitter feed.

Those 2 wins don't bother me, that's going to happen occasionally. It's the fact that people thought Iowa had a better season last year based on 2 essentially insignificant wins in the grand scheme of things. To me a season boils down to:
--Where did you finish in the league?
--Did you get better?
--Did you make the NCAA's?
--How did you do in the NCAA's?

Iowa has nice talent. It would shock NO ONE in Wisconsin if Iowa won on Saturday (it's a road BIG game after all). Check out the Wisconsin scout board if you don't believe me. Some very positive comments regarding Iowa.
You base neither of those upon facts. The SI deal was all anonymous, and it literally could have been anybody in the conference. As for Uthoff, there's no proof FM used back channels, and I'm not sure he would have needed to. As you said, Uthoff went to every Iowa beat writer with a Twitter feed. He knew where he wanted to go and decided to transfer, IMO.
That's just my opinion and it carries no more or less weight than yours. It's every bit as plausible.
Where there's smoke there is fire. I don't have any proof that Scott Drew is an illegal recruiter or John Calipari but it's not hard to see the obvious.
It doesn't matter though, our Coach and our team has most certainly moved on. Next.
