I can think of 3 in the 18 class. What in-state PGs in the '18 and '19 classes do you want him to offer right now?

I think he would do just fine but it's hard to say for certain. He's tough. High basketball IQ. That can overcome a lot. Basketball is a thinking man's game. Athleticism helps but it's not everything.

Woody - Got
Gesell - (yeah I know he wasn't in state, but close enough) Got
Ogelsby - Got
Washpun - Lost
Paige - Lost
Jok - got
Uthoff - Got eventually
Kreiner - Got
Pemsl - Got
Bohannon - Got (now everyone is complaining about him, yet we are to believe that people would have wanted Lohous, when he wasn't the recruit that even Bohannan is?)
Conner - Got
Weiscamp - Got
Patrick - Got
We have literally gotten 11 of 13 Iowa kids. We lost Paige to UNC, that is gonna happen. We lost Washpun to Tennessee because of Lick. Fran offered all the kids who made an impact at a P6 school. Outside of those kids a hindsight case could be made for Tuttle, and Morgan (Lohaus still has done nothing in his Fr. or So. years that shows he is a B1G caliber player).
We also have verbal commitments from Conner, Weiscamp and Patrick in the next 3 years coming in locking down 1 top 100 player and 2 top 50 players out of Iowa. Despite all of this, some idiots still want to criticize Fran's in state recruiting......it is unbelievable really.
I'll keep the names to myself. I have my reasons. Please name them.
Lohaus sounds like a guy that loves to shoot and does it quite readily. Like it has been stated, he hasn't been put on any all conference teams, and he isn't the next great guard to come out of Iowa. He is good enough to get a division one scholarship at a lower level division which is pretty good.
You just described Maish Dailey, Christian Williams, Ahmad Wagner, etc. None of them had another P5 offer other than Iowa. They all had mid- major offers only. If it's good enough for Fran to reach on them, why isn't it good enough to reach on Lohas?Lohaus sounds like a guy that loves to shoot and does it quite readily. You can go out and watch the games yourself. Or wait to see who signs at other D-1 colleges from that class.

We were pretty good friends in HS and now and we talked about it a little but I do not believe his dad was involved with anything like thatAnybody know whether Wyatt's dad went to bat for him to come to Iowa City? What's the story there?

As I said, I've got my reasons. Part of those reasons are that I have no intention of educating you idiots. Rob has access. If he believes he knows what a good basketball player looks like, he can judge for himself. I don't owe Rob Howe anything. He withholds information from the board when he believes he has good reason. I shall do the same. The only reason you could possibly have is to keep from looking dumb. I think you're past worrying about that.
Rutgers is the same thing as a mid major. I couldn't find those offers on Wagner. I take it back on him. I stand by the other 2.

I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong about a player. I think a LOT more of Maish Dailey after seeing him in person at the PTL than I did when I saw his recruiting video. I was wrong about him when I spoke up and I admitted that. If the three players in question don't end up amounting to anything in college, you guys can bring it up in a few years. It shouldn't be hard to figure out.
He is pretty involved with helping him improve and maybe he knew that'd be easier at a small school too I think Brad has been a consultant of sorts-not for sure thoInteresting. Seems like his dad would have really liked for him to play in Iowa City. I suppose it is good that he let Wyatt make his own choice. Perhaps he just didn't want to play in his dad's shadow. That is quite a shadow (at many levels of meaning)!

I watch a lot of games and know a lot of the AAU and HS coaches in the state. What are your reasons for keeping the names to yourself?
