(USC reportedly dismissed Jones from its team in May of 2018 due to academic ineligibility. He subsequently was arrested in June of last year and pled guilty in October to a second-degree misdemeanor charge of commercial burglary after breaking into a Panda Express restaurant in Santa Paula, Calif.

Felony charges against Jones were dropped at the time of his plea. As part of the agreement, Jones spent 45 days on house arrest and is on three years of informal probation....

Jones enrolled at Moorpark College in the fall of 2018 and concluded classes at the school last week. He has achieved the NCAA-mandated academic progress toward graduation needed to play this season, according to sources.)

I saw that after I posted. Its possible he has inside knowledge about something that's not supposed to be public, but it's more likely he's full of crap.
