Another 2 star project with a handful of offers from scrub teams. Yay.I see WR Emmanuel Ogwo commits to the Hawks. He's a speedster from Texas.
HR, I get your point. On the surface, that is how this would appear. But, go take a look at some of his Hudl highlights. There is one from this past spring, so it is recent. It is mostly scrimmage stuff but, in my opinion, it gives good insight. This kid is a pure hands catcher, looks like he gets in and out of his breaks very cleanly, has some shimmy and shake with those moves and flashes speed. I think the kid has talent. But, of course, I'm an amateur so I could be way off. We'll find out if he blows up this season with offers, or not.Another 2 star project with a handful of offers from scrub teams. Yay.

The biggest complaint about the Iowa Football program is speed. Here is a guy that is a track star with great speed. Why poop poo the idea just based on his star ranking?
plenty of nice d1 teams have interest - didn't play his jr. year - so 'off the radar' in the truest since. Kennedy saw him while down scouting and offered him on the spot.

We could definitely use some more speed at the WR position so this appears to be a good pickup. How big is he?
Found a couple track stats for him and some comparison to high school numbers for random Hawkeyes past.
Ogwo
100M: 10.85
200M: 22.19
400M: 47.62
Paul Chaney
100M: 10.52
200M: 21.25
Jordan Cotton
100M: 11.10 (as Junior)
400M: 50.41 (as Junior)
Damond Powell
100M: 11.63 (as a sophomore)
200M: 23.40
I realize track speed isn't everything, but I thought it relevant to put those times into context.
LOL, how many WRs does Iowa have in the NFL right now, genius?yet they keep sending players to the NFL. You should just let the scouts/staff handle it.
