Ex-Hawkeye Tyler Wiegers is off to great start for Eastern Michigan in his first 2 games.

First week EMU had a blowout victory over Monmouth 51-17
Tyler's stats: 18-21, 238 YDS, 2 TD

Then in week 2, EMU had a big upset win @ Purdue 20-19.
Tyler's stats: 20-28, 312 yards, 1 TD, 1INT

No doubt. I didn't have any bad feelings when JR left either. They only have so few chances to play. If that's what they prioritize then great. Who the heck am I to blame them for that? Got to watch the last quarter of Weigers beat Purdue and I was rooting for him every snap of the way. They got lucky with that Purdue Dlineman after sacking him roughing him and getting flagged for it. But he still orchestrated the rest of that drive with a huge 3rd and long conversion after that. It was fun to watch
 
Is it just me but do former Iowa quarterbacks look like they play looser with more of a gunslinger mentality at their new schools?
