It is sad but that's how the cookie crumbles buddy! **** I wish Iowa had Gotten to play Xavier in St Louis! Iowa played in Villanova back yard and #7 seed Wisconsin Played #2 Xavier on level playing field both Universities 350 miles to St Louis..

Lots of Iowa fans experienced them both, like my UNI grad neighbor who got kicked in the gut early afternoon so he put on his UNI shirt for the first time all year and then took it in the arse tonight.

Not quite...it took more than 35 seconds for Iowa State to come back. UNI's struggles inbounding the ball made me sick to my stomach, like watching the little 3-legged cheetah lag behind it's family as the hyenas close in...you know what's coming and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

As bad and heartbreaking as UNI's loss was, they dominated a #3 seed for nearly the entire game. We rolled over and were NEVER competitive. I guess i would take losing the UNI way, because they showed they belong. we showed we did not.
