The ex-Cub factor is what is bothering me here...

The ex-Cub factor used to be a positive. For years, the team with the most ex-Cubs would win the WS.

That's twice the Cards were down to the last strike. Just like the Rays were and just like the Red Sox were to win their game. It happens once in a while, but not twice in one game. Incredible.
