Woodbury to announce tomorrow

having grown up a hawk fan and being so big on loyalty, he wouldn't do us like that if he wasn't picking us. no way in the world he'd pick UNC and then show up here on a visit. if he did, i'd really think poorly of him. wouldn't blame him for not picking us, but would be low class to do it like that.

all that to say i think we got him. awesome news.

Bingo, he can always pick NC and then cancel his official visit.

Recruits like to take official visits (they are paid for) so he could do that. I believe football recruit Marice Flemming did this. Didn't he visit Georgia Tech? But I think it looks like Iowa. Just cautiously optimistic given that ISU fans thought Barnes was a lock only to go play for Ol' Roy.

Fleming took a couple of unofficial visits, but he hasn't taken any official visits yet.

Exactly what I was thinking. Keeping a positive outlook tho.
 
I think Woodbury picks Iowa, and I think Roy will have to sweat it out until signing day re: Marcus Paige
 
I actually REALLY don't like the sound of this! Why would he not wait until this weekend to make his announcement if he was coming to Iowa?

I just have to think Roy pushed him and he ldecided to go with UNC. Since this was the case he wanted to announce before he was supposed to show up at Iowa, because he really likes the Iowa staff and players.

Seriously, I can't imagine why he would take the air out of an on campus announcement at Iowa.

Not saying he won't come to Iowa. Just saying I don't feel comfortable with this timing issue.

John, I'm not real bright. Spell this out for me. You think there's a chance that if Woodbury goes to Iowa that Paige may decommit and follow?
 
I will be interested to see those who posted when the big boys,(Ohio St., North Carolina) came calling that posted in a matter of fact way, "HE GONE". I will love seeing their responses to when Adam commits to Iowa.

Wouldn't that be a major coup for Fran. Not that getting two 4 star top 100 players isn't that already, but if he were to somehow wheel in Marcus Paige as well......wow!
