Win or Lose...Coaching Staff deserves all of the criticism that comes their way

Just sickening. Just turns your stomach how we get so conservative and a let a wounded team like this come in and punch us around in the 2nd half and not willing to put them away when you have the chance in the first half (and 2nd half on the missed fg when we should be going for it with the wind like that). Iowa just got a fumble recovery and be able to escape, but a win is going to feel somewhat like a loss at the very least if we are being realistic from a coaching evaluation. For the sake of the players, I hope they can pull it out and have something to feel good about.
 
Last 2 drives, Iowa hit some throws, got in long FG range, and went into a shell even though they haven't run it well since the 2nd quarter.

Staff deserves a loss today. Hope the players overcome that in OT
 
I agree this has been a horrible called gm. Same old **** playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Ferentz pisses me off he is so samn conservative.
 
Staff deserves a loss is right. I'm not sure if I can watch the Ferentz program much more.

This win is truly on the players today. Coaching in the 2nd half had zero to do with Iowa winning the game. That's why I will support the players but not the staff.
 
Have to give the D credit. They were on the field and beaten up most of that 2nd half but stepped up big time in OT.
 
What a bunch of whiny little biotches. We just beat a team NOBODY had us picked to beat at the beginning of the season. It's a good day to be a hawkeye.

Please! NW sucks right now and we had to go to OT to beat them and it was all on the players in OT. This staff is horrible and the entire nation save for a few fools in the state of Iowa know this.

Enjoy the win and be extremely pleased for the players, but don't be fooled by the coaches lack of 2nd half adjustments and lack of clock management.

I live in Oklahoma. Yesterday, I went to the office cafeteria for lunch and ordered a sandwich. The lady making my sandwich asked me which game I was going to watch (today), OU or OSU? I said Iowa. The guy behind me started laughing. I asked him if he was from Iowa and he shook his head no and turned around, still chuckling. We're the laughing stock of the BIG and (if anyone cares to notice) the rest of the country.

Great job players for showing the fans what heart is, today, despite your coaching staff. But hey, we do currently have 15 verbal commits; of which 27% are currently rated 2* and 100% are rated under 4*. So, we have the coaching staff to thank for that momentum, as well.

I picked Iowa to win this one, and I am someone! Anyways the defensive stand in the overtime was one of the best I have ever seen. Good job Iowa, I did not think this one was going to be so close but on a windy day scores like this tend to happen. What a way to put those losers, colder and fitzscumbag in their places.
