Will Iowa ever have a QB that can throw

Over-the-top hyperbole, but there is a point.

Gronowski is a gamer and has some moxie, but his accuracy at times is surprisingly awful, and, his misses are not just occasions where the pass should have been "front shoulder and not back shoulder." He's been off by several feet at times with relatively routine passes, something you wouldn't expect from a QB with his experience and success.

It's almost as if he has forgotten the importance of using the lower body, something that QB coaches preach in order to be consistently accurate.

Perplexing.

This is a factual post.
It's utterly bizarre to see Gron repeatedly, in game 10 of the season, still throwing the ball at receivers' feet on simple screen passes, or throwing it in the dirt 2 yds in front of a WR who's open 15 yds down the field.
Repeatedly.
And the most striking thing about these throws is that he's rarely under pressure when he's throwing them. Iowa's OLine this year is one of KF's best, and most of Gron's errant throws have come with no pressure...that's what makes them inexcusable.

Maybe his shoulder injury combined with knee issues have something to do with his erratic passes. Too many of his throws are surprisingly bad.

He is puzzling as some of the easiest passes look like he is chocking then he throws one like he is Joe Montana. That last pass was a great example of what he can do. If the defensive player had not of knocked him out of bounds that would have been a completion. There should be a rule that if the player would have come down in bounds had the defensive player basically shoved him out of bounds, the catch should be considered a legal completion.

Question? Is there a rule on this type of play in the NFL? I mean lets exaggerate for a second. What if he had caught the ball five yards away from the out of bounds markers but the opponent carries you over and throws you out of bounds? Also, because it can be dangerous to the ball carrier the coaching staff should be able to challenge a missed facemask. Why should that be any different than any other personal foul???

Big money has ruined college sports and sports in general. MLB pitchers and NBA players making tens of millions of dollars and now accusations of throwing games. If found guilty those involved should be removed from MLB and NBA forever and face racketeering charges and spend significant time in prison.

Let the inmates play with their balls.
