I lied.
I bet he does, though. JO will be fine, people need to relax and lay off him. I mean it isn't like he is averaging like 30 minutes a game and causing them to lose.
Good point, but look at the line...
13 min.
0-5 (0-3 3pt), 2 reb, 1 ast, 1 turn, 0 pts.
At least give those minutes to May or something.
Also, he passed up a couple wide open looks and also did a pump fake when he was open. If he's in there, he needs to shoot (even if he's missing) - because otherwise, right now, he doesn't help Iowa in many other areas. Hey, I'm not trying crush him, just stating the facts right now. Josh isn't making shots and when he has open shots he's not taking them because the confidence isn't there. If that's the issue, then he needs to play more and shoot more or sit for a little bit. Just my opinion on it.
Iowa and ISU had the same player who was reportedly great in practice. He was a non-entity when the lights came on other than one great moment.Fran continues to be baffled by this, repeating his refrain that Josh shoots it real well in practice.

FG kickers make almost all of their kicks in practice and in pregame.
Those don't count when it counts.
I once watched Anthony Tucker hit 40+ threes once in warmups, then he went 2-7 in the game.

Today is like Christmas morning to a person like me.
This. If it ain't up it ain't in.
That's the only reason why he is playing, so he either needs to shoot everytime he has an open look or he shouldn't be on the floor.
Also Slump? He shot right around 30% from 3 last year and is shooting 27% from 3 this year it isn't like he went from hitting 40% to 30%.
Playing 15 min a game and going 0-5 is hurting the Team. Plain and Simple!
He is trying to get out of a slump, he won't do that on the bench. Ok going 0-5 is hurting the team a little bit but trying to remove him completely from the game in the middle of a slump isn't going to help. Fran and others talk about how is hits shots in practice, he hit shots last year. Eventually they will fall.
I bet JO beats everyone at horse, as long as it is just horse practice. In a real game of horse, Peter Pumper would win.
Olgelsby is NOT a gamer. Good thing our military has better snipers than him.
This may actually be worse than an austinhawk post.
