I don't know if I can recall a single player completely dominating a half like Drew Ott has done today.

Do you remember Mike Danials against maybe Ball State? That was similar. He just repeatedly embarrassed their oline.

Well I've had enough of cyfan. One post says Iowa is moving slow but taking care of business. 95% are saying they'll beat UNI by 10-14 points tonight. Can't wait to see the meltdown. If the clowns were beating the fcs national championship runner-up by 17 they'd be printing playoff tickets.

Not much to fault in this game. Hopefully the offense gets back on track. I'd like to see a 30-40 point win in this game. Hopefully Kirk will continue to see the light.

On one hand, gotta give derKirkFeravis some credit for the aggressiveness and actually playing to win:
- recognizing the futility of punting / iffy field goal length and going for it in your opponents territory;
- fake field goal (actually a very low success call considering down, distance and field position); that was obviously for you, Hawk fans ... and we appreciate it, Kirk.
- not taking a knee with a 2-digit lead and 38 ticks left in half - complete half-circle!

On the other hand, it's FCS and "meaningless" non-Big14 game. Expecting a complete return to derKirkFer by next week. Gonna take a bit more to knock back the cynic that derKirkFer has created over the last 7 years. Not the least of which is his horrible player management decisions, ala Jake over CJ.

Illinois State with 0 yards rushing. D-line is looking good. Nice to see a little swagger back in the Iowa program even though the season just started.

Offense struggling again and while we had a 56 yard punt our net is only 36 yards. Dylan Kidd, 2 punts both into the end zone, disappointing.

It's time for the offense to do something again. It's looking a little too familiar - get out fast then just kind of trade possessions for 3/4 of the game.
