If you mean Wagner, dude is not going to get much PT next year. Why would 2 starters leave?
Wagner and Moss came in at the same time, two years with the program. I don't see either going. Uhl could definitely go. For me, the most likely is Dailey but that is certainly not a sure thing and I think he could contribute. I don't see Ellingson going anywhere. We all know Dale Jones is probably gone. But who else. I see up to 4 transfers.
I'm starting to wonder about Moss and Williams. I really like them both and I hope they stick around.
In my option Uhl, Wagner and Ellingson are to old to leave.
Thoughts?
Last year Ellingson played 9 minutes a game...didn't look real good most of the time...and many wanted him gone. This year he played 15 minutes a game and was a very important/effective role player for us.If you mean Wagner, dude is not going to get much PT next year.
Kriener has the basketball IQ and the all around game IMO. He needs to get stronger...much stronger...but I predict he will be an outstanding player for Iowa. He's also an Iowa kid and has played with Bohannon and Pemsl for years.Fran only has 30 minutes per game to distribute (Jok's time) among all the returning players plus 3 incoming freshman. Here are my guesses:
Dailey - didn't play much this year. I'd be surprised if he inherited any of Jok's minutes over the likes of Moss, Ellingson, Williams, Connor McCaffery.
Williams - only plays about 13 minutes per game. With Connor coming next year, he may feel like he won't increase his playing time which could lead to a transfer, since he still has a red-shirt year and 2 years of eligibility. Doubt he leaves, but possible.
Uhl - not going anywhere. Only 1 year of eligibility left, and I believe the team is taking a summer trip to Germany (his home country), and which lower level team is going to sacrifice 2 years of scholarships for only 1 year of playing time?
Moss/Ellingson - they have both used their redshirt years, so any transfer, except for juco, would cost them a year of eligibility, so doubt they leave. Ellingson, entering his 4th year, should graduate next spring, so a chance he could then leave as a grad transfer without sitting out. Moss, I assume, will inherit most of Jok's minutes next year.
Kreiner - I could maybe see him leaving. If he is already behind Wagner, Pemsl & Cook now, and if he assumes Garza & Nunge will surpass him, it might make sense to transfer, use his redshirt, and then have 3 years remaining at his new school.

Why just start a thread to create rumors about people leaving?
Moss isn't going anywhere. He'll have as many minutes as he can handle.
Williams will be the backup PG again but will also probably get more minutes and play some 2.
He'll never play 30 a game but he will absolutely playIf you mean Wagner, dude is not going to get much PT next year.

Its not about creating "rumors". Its about discussion.
The NCAA has pegged the number at various times between 40 and 44 percent, a figure that never seems quite to line up with the 700 or so transfers that ESPN’s Jeff Goodman tallies annually. (If you’ve got 350 teams with 12 players, that’s 4,200, and 700 of them transferring each year is 14 percent … well, how you get to eventually a 40-44 percent transfer rate is beyond my limited understanding of math). Either way, to stretch that to 50 percent is a torturing the truth.
As well, if it’s an “embarrassment to higher education” – well, what does it say for higher education generally that 33 percent of all students will transfer at least once before completing their academic careers?
That's college basketball in 2017. Kids transfer.
