Funny how many of you jumped me when I questioned what black player would sign with the Clippers, even the NBA is concerned about this. The racial issues with Sterling may not be new but the media circus surrounding this tape is. I agree that at the end of the day basketball players just want to get paid but this Sterling issue is at a new level and any big name black player that signs with the Clippers will be questioned by the media and fellow players. This is now like someone crossing a picket line in order to work while the regulars are on strike. I am sure there will be a few that cross that "picket line" but I doubt you will see any big name players signing with the Clippers until Sterling is removed as an owner. I think the NBA is going to have a hard time forcing him out, especially if the ownership of the Clippers is involved with the divorce proceedings.
