Well to be fair, it's supposed to be based on their college careers. Otherwise, Chuck Long would have no chance. Given that I'm sure the vast majority of the people voting never saw Nellie play, Earl has a bit more resonance with the younger generation.

I love Dallas Clark. But he is no Alex Karras.

Karras is truly one of the all time greats in college AND the NFL.

When he was doing Monday Night Football, a game in Houston was late in the 4th quarter with the home team trailing 45-0, the camera showed the empty stands except one person in the 2nd deck on the 10 yard line. The fan saw the camera and immediately flipped the bird. Alex quipped, "There's one fan that still thinks that
