More touches for Woody in the post please. As others said he played a good game but I think he needs more opportunities to score.
I think the way he plays could have got kamisky in foul trouble. But gabe doesn't have back to the basket game and basically only scores when his defender leaves him or put backs. Kamisky is out of his defensive element on true back to the basket post ups.

Fran is def on a roll in close games and not in a good way..
I'd like to know what Fran has against mike and woody who are two of his highest ranked players outta HS and the 'future' of Iowa bball?? Mike is a stud and ran with that Paige kid during their aau days. If good ol Roy boy trusts him at NC to run his show in crunch time, why doesn't Fran trust mike or give him a chance? We only have him for 4 years Franny...maddening.
The worst feeling in sports was sitting on the bench....pretty damn sure mike doesn't want to be there either. Christ all mighty.

yeaaa whites 13 ppg are really holding this team back.
And Paige is much more liberal with which team he throws the ball to than gesell is.

Fran's in game decisions.. Especially late have been very concerning/lousy and have definitely been highlighted by him admitting that he drew that final shot up for josh (understandable) and Zach (no way dude? Way dude...way)
I would bet he was trying to deflect...my guess is marble was option #1 and oglesby was #2 and McCabe was the 3rd option at best. He was trying to deflect criticism from zach as zach had a bad game and without basabe he was put in positions he isn't great at.

I hear ya but Fran shouldn't be deflecting a thing and absorbing it all. Mike and woody are bosses and should never see the pine unless they need to slosh some Gatorade or water in their mouth for a quick breather.

How many of those PPG are the result of rim running and alley oops? When the transition game isn't there, White tends to disappear, and he didn't it again yesterday. Nobody respects his jumper, and good teams are able to take away his driving game without fouling.
