He had decent coverage on the TD that was on the sideline (and probably wasn't a TD). The other I don't believe it was his zone, I could be wrong. Regardless, giving up long drives and 200 yards rushing isn't on Mabin.

Hes not the primary issue, not even top 5.

And it really is crappy to call out a player this way.

Mabin is getting beat, a lot. But what about our walk on safety from Iowa. Another walk on safety. I take Mabin over him. He ran into Carr at the 8 and bounced off him as Carr walked into the end zone. How many times do we have to watch that guy bounce off people aor get juked badly or ran over or ran around.

I would love Iowa to actually recruit a couple quality safeties.

Of course people go after Mabin, they sure as hell arent going at King. Of course he has his faults, we all do. That TD on the sideline should never have happened anyway if Josey Jewell completes the sack like he should have. There's plenty of blame to go around on this defense.

At the end of last year Mabin was playing well. In fact, he was playing so well I thought he was a legit NFL prospect. This year I can't explain it like Hawkeyewalker stated he hasn't been awful, but he hasn't been great either. Also, what Hawkeyewalker posted this is waaay down on the list of the issues that Iowa has.
