Thanks for the information. Let's hope for good news for big Drew. He certainly had his share of bad luck with the two serious injuries this year.Feb 22-23
The Big Ten’s six-member academics and eligibility subcommittee, which includes Iowa Athletics Director Gary Barta, decides Ott’s case. The subcommittee next is scheduled to meet Feb. 22-23, 2016 in Rosemont, Ill.

The longer this drags out, the less likely it is for Drew to get an extra year. Hopefully I'm wrong.
So Barta's got a vote? That can't hurt
I would assume he'd have to abstain his vote for one of his own player wouldn't he? Not sure how that works...
His vote could be abstained, but his politicking certainly (hopefully) won't be.
Anyone know when the ruling will be announced on Drew Ott's redshirt application? Will we know before National Signing Day on 3 February?
Feb 22nd is the latest it can go I believe.
