What's going on with Hawkeye Nation?

As Sunday was one of the most memorable day in Hawkeye Sports history, I awaited with anticipation to read the Hawkeye Nation coverage.
And the waiting is still going on.
Just listened to Rob Howe's Tuesday podcast on Hawkfanatic, and if i understood correctly, Hawkeye Nation is for sale, and things are very much up in the air.
Hopefully I just misunderstood, or misinterpreted what he said.
Many of you are far more well informed that i am (oh okay--most of you are!), so hopefully some clarification can be provided.
Very much looking forward to having a much clearer understanding of what's going on here.
 
What is going on??? Or rather why is NOTHING going on?

The last HN has posted is from January 29th, ancient history about the women's NW game.

What Rob said on his podcast is what’s going on.

Not much more to say.

Rob let me know about his situation a while ago but I wanted to let him speak on his own if he wanted to. I would guess there’s a good chance this thing goes dark at some point.

The last part: "I would guess there's a good chance this thing goes dark at some point" is very disappointing. (Not disagreeing with you.)

Would think that surely someone or some entity would step in and buy HN. But the reality is that as more and more people who check out this site for Hawkeye news tire of finding absolutely no new articles, they will stop checking in and go elsewhere, dooming HN.

Clearly "going dark" could well become the reality if they don't get someone hired to post new stories pronto.

If they continue to sit idly by and not put up any new articles, as Fryowa says above, HN could go dark!

Want to emphasize that it's purely speculation on my part, I don't know if that's the case or not because I'm not privy to that info...I have no factual basis for thinking that and I'm not an employee etc. of HN. My hope is they find someone and it may well happen. I'm not sure.

I don't have the technical expertise (nor the money) to buy it or I'd take it up myself just to get to keep hanging out here and conversing.

The first few minutes of his 2/4 mailbag pod explain it. I'd rather not relay it because there's always a chance I misstate something. Again, I have no indication (given to me at least) that HN is going away.
