If we were in LSU's position and the game went the same way....I say it would be thermonuclear meltdown mode at KOK and KF. LSU's gameplan on O was UGLY. No shots downfield at all allowed Bama to just choke out everything.[/QUOTE
agreed. their inability or willingness to throw the ball more than 10 yards was interesting for a team in the national championship.
how about the qb and his option ability. that guy never once made a good option play - never made the other team guess which way it would go - pretty obvious and poorly executed.

That was some of the worst option football I've ever seen. Also why keep running it after getting blasted over and over again? Particularly when speed on the edges, which Alabama has a lot of, is made to stop the option?

Exactly. Is Bama's Defense really that good? They were fast, but really? The LSU O was horrendous...makes me wonder that the only reason LSU was there was their early wins with Oregon and W. Virginia (?) and of course the Alabama I OT luckfest. Would certainly be bummed with playcalling and qb execution as an LSU fan.

They're scoring defense ranked 1st in the nation this year. Allowed 8.8 points per game.
I would say that the fans would have been pretty damn happy to play for a national championship, something that has not happened and will not happen during the lifetime of any poster on this board.
I doubt we will ever know.

Imagine a whacky wavy inflatable arm man that was capable of screaming profanity. I think it would look something like that.
Miller would be left with no option but to set fire to the HN servers and open up a salted nut concession stand at the mall to make up for his financial losses.
