1. Persa doesn't do well at all and there is a QB debate at NW.

2. Penn state loses to Indy

3. We land at least one big recruit........Kozan would be great

4. Wisky beats Nebby and they start to "shut down"

5. Iowa State beats Texas.......Good for us to have them win now.

6. Everyone is nice to Vintage all weekend on HAWKEYENATION!

What else would you put on the this........

My original may have said Persa getting dinged up and PSU losing a couple more defensive guys wouldn't have been bad for us.....but as pointed out that was in poor taste so I made some tweeks.
 
7) Illinois beats NW
8) OSU beats Michigan State
9) Minnesota upsets Michigan in the big house
10) On Monday night, Angerer has 21 more tackles and Edds sees some action for Indy
 
Canzeri looks great in pass protection and is slated for every third possession against PU. Fitz talks to CPR and decides NW needs higher aspirations than beating Iowa every year. The light comes on for Davis and he becomes the next Kroul.

1) Persa will almost assuredly be the starter all year, barring health of course, and I would love for the Hawks to beat jNW with him at the helm instead of one of their backups. Granted, a win against them regardless of the quarterback situation would be taken in a heartbeat.
2) I would rather Penn State beat Indiana, making our matchup next weekend a great battle of 1 loss teams and have Iowa leave Happy Valley with only 1 loss.
3) Totally agree. Would love any recruit to commit this weekend.
4) As much as I would want to have a game with enormous implications occurring in Lincoln on the 25th between two undefeated teams in BIG play and having Iowa leave there victorious and go to Indy, I think the best situation for us is if Nebraska loses as much as possible.
5) I hope ISU doesn't embarrass themselves, making our loss to them look bad, but I still want Texas to win that game.
6) Agreed with Jon. Michigan, MSU, and Nebraska all losing would be great.
 
I don't understand how or why an Iowa fan would cheer for the clowns to win at ANY time.

Remember what Paula said a few years ago, "What is bad for the clowns is great for the Hawks."

So you're saying you're cheering for Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Minnesota today? Let me guess, the next thing you're going to tell me is that you're cheering for Illinois (against NW)! Not sure I can get used to this division thing! ;)
