What do you do on bye weeks?

To the OP - the majority of us don’t have other “healthy" hobbies like normal people, is that what you wanted to hear?

THUMB UP!!!! LOL.

Sadly, this Saturday I have to go to a memorial service for a colleague and good friend who passed away last month from some rare bone cancer.

Flea markets, antiquing, yachting at big creek, frisbee golf, extreme planking, spending time with ohqueef, just stuff like that.

I have a plan. 7pm I will watch the Iowa Minnesota volleyball game on BTN plus. I look forward to see if they can win 2 in a row following the win over Northwestern. I like to see how this team is improving.

Prior to that I will smoke a pork shoulder. It is on special at fareway this week! So pulled pork and an Iowa volleyball victory. It should be a good time.

Watching volleyball for any other reason than seeing ***** in butt huggers? Wow. Pull the man card on nickie

Two things ...

1) Try to rest up and heal the mental "bumps and bruises" from the first 7 games

2) Hope Nebby, Bucky and the Gophers all take a loss

Supporting and watching Iowa teems is what any true fan should do. Seeing the young women is just an added bonus.

What do you do on bye week Saturdays?

Sleep in?

Catch up with yard work?

Watch football and wish that Iowa was playing?

TELL ME WHAT YOU DO!

I watch other other college football based on todays' game and dream about what could be.

I also used to get ancy when the Hawks had a bye week. Now, I honestly don't give it a second thought. The only thing I know for sure is Iowa cannot lose during these few weeks each fall.

This will probably the last good weekend to finish up on fall yardwork before it gets too cold. Mr. Freak is out of town, so I'll do all the stuff he told he'd take care of for me last year.
