Seff? Other cards fans? Come out, come out, wherever you arrrrre!!

Sitting here wondering how long it was going to take a Cubs fan (if in fact you are a Cubs fan) to spout off about the Cardinals loss... at least they were in the play-offs, even if they did choke the last two games away.

I don't even like beisball, but I was happy to see the Cards lose. They have become the Yankees of the Midwest.

BOOM. Exactly.
And to add to your poast, many cardinals fans have become as obnoxious, arrogant, and unlikable as yankees fans.

I am actually quite shocked to see the cards in the playoffs since they lost Albert and their 2 "ace" pitchers both had major surgery.

I wouldn't say anything but since Ellen is always mouthing off in the cubs threads, I'm happy to tell everyone of my joy seeing the cards get smoked.

Unfortunately e11en1 has been diesel'd, evidently he got to mouthy in the game thread on Saturday.

Right here. Sometimes arrogance is a by product of success. It should breed expectations. If you are a Cards fan, you should expect to be in this position. I try not to come off as a jerk, but the organization and tradition gives St. Louis fans that kind of belief. The last 6 years have been very successful. Last night was a low point, but there is no reason to believe that the Cards won't be in a similar position next year. The Cards lost this series because there was no sense of urgency. That is on Matheny. I hope he learns from that.

This is very funny. Meme's asking each other "do you hate me" or "do you like me" is where message boards have wound up.

You have not been around enough to witness the romance between tehboat and Scorp, Days of our lives has nothing on these 2.

Actually they lost the series because they crapped the bed and couldn't play D. The Giants sacked up and made defensive play after defensive play. The Giants straight chinsacked the Cards and I loved it!!!

Stole this pic for another thread (thanks). Wild! I will not rub any salt in Cards' wounds being a Cubs fan. Would like to get there as often as they do. They lose Pujols, LaRussa, and Duncan and just plug in Beltran and others and keep going. Their young pitching looks good. They will be a force for quite a while.

My beef is not that Cards fans are arrogant because of their team's success(I don't really follow baseball, so I don't give a rip about their team), they're arrogant because they think being a Cardinals fan in itself is an achievement. They are the self-professed best sports fans in America, and they have no problem telling you what great fans they are.

Yeah, you know baseball Cardinals fans? You know who else knows baseball? Every 11 year old in America. Understanding baseball is not something to brag about.
