6-8 inches of snow is now expected friday night into saturday morning. A Winter Storm Watch will be issued tonight or tomorrow.

Plan accordingly and drive safe people.

This x100. Going to be a lot of Hawkeye friends out there on the road tomorrow. Make sure you take it easy and allow plenty of time. I always worry when there are games (football or basketball) during lousy weather because I know how bad 80 & 380 can be, even when the weather is fine.

About 1990 or thereabouts the last game of the season against Minny was played in a bad snow storm. We had to turn around and head back to Des Moines. There was a pretty sparse crowd iirc of maybe 20,000 plus at the game. It happens.

If this snow hits fairly big you may see way less than 63,000 in the stands.
