Yup, something is going on here... good coaching, tradition, success, a surplue of in-state talent, a lack of D1 and D2 schools, and huge discrepancy between Wartbug/Coe and the next tier of wrestling schools. Nothing fishy though.
Wartburg has a little advantage in that they are able to put a lot of kids in school without the rigorous academic requirements of Coe, Cornell, or Luther.
With the right Coach Upper Iowa could become powerfull. They really have a niche.
