Rice headed to Nebraska

Can't get em all I suppose. We got Thompson instead and I'm good with that. I was more bummed about the Storm Lake kid going to Creighton then this. I look forward to seeing how Ben keeps attacking the recruiting landscape and how we look next yr on the floor. If we look good to start the yr that momentum could be huge for recruiting

Nebraska must have ponied up the buckaroos. What other reason would a kid choose Nebraska basketball over any other Big Ten school?

You never know if he'll be there for four years in the current environment. I wish the kid the best but you never know if he might be available down the line.
Ya just never know is right... Did anyone see Sandfort going to Neb? Maybe someone did but that came out of left field to me. When I'd seen that he was at Bens press conference I figured he was staying like Koch was. So with how kids can bounce around every yr ya just don't know.

Hoiberg evidently got the Nebby NIL house in order. I sense they've put together a pretty good roster going into this year. I believe I read where one of their portal gets is a decent 7-footer.

I guess we'll see when we play them.

I have heard that this is the first year he's really been given extra resources. Thought is that it's held him back - and let's be honest, Fred is going into his 7th season with only 1 tournament appearance. He HAS to win or he's gone, so, I am sure there is a GIGANTIC push to get him what he needs because, how do you keep bringing him back? They are still selling out their games, but that's a long time without much to show for it. You can fault Iowa's brass all you want, but we aren't keeping coaches who get 1 dance every 7 seasons.
