I've been battling epic dental pain for 3 days...had a root canal this afternoon. My daughter (who's home for the weekend) picks me up and informs me she's transferring to Iowa State.

I've asked my wife to hide the knives and guns. If we lose tomorrow... all bets are off.

my wife (who I met in Coralville) transferred to Iowa State and finished up there ... great school, and tons of Hawkeye fans on campus

Well both shoes are back on the feet but one isnt quite tied. The hawks could have beat Illinois by 50-14 except for those few 4th down series.

But the hawks will need to be almost perfect again in the next two games.

They can win them with no turnovers, few penalties, and I have to say it really good execution being in your gaps and tackling. The defense will have to play great.
