Vote: Do You Pull for Other B1G Teams in Big Dance?

I was hoping for Kansas to lose.
Glad I wasn't pulling for that team that never showed up.

Yikes!

They played some good offense in the first half. They couldn't play defense the whole game though. They really got ran off the court in the 2nd. It was not a good look for Painters experienced squad. I bet half of their fan board is fed up with that bum and all the excuses.

Like we were last year?

I know they got blown out but making the Sweet 16 means he's a bum?

I was pulling for Purdue against Kansas...but didn't think they had a chance playing in KC. I rarely cheer for the Big 12.

I was really pulling for Michigan. I like their coach and their players. And I take some satisfaction in seeing a team we beat succeed in the NCAA's.

I don't like Wisconsin or Florida. So I will pull for Wisconsin. See satisfaction comment. And it doesn't bother me that much because I think this is the last year of Wisconsin basketball being relevant.

I'm not so sure I agree with this. In many one and done tournaments, the best team doesn't always win. Sometimes it's the team that plays better on that particular day..

Just my $.02 .. .. GO HAWKS!!!

This is correct.

I should have said they play a tournament to see who the "best" is. Either way tho, whoever does well in the tournament doesn't get mocked for the conference they played in. In football I see Big D's arguement about wanting the best conference. In basketball it doesn't matter because of the tournament.

I would love to see sixteen teams picked in football rather than this political biased system they have now. There would still be bias but at least more teams would be included.

One other thing I would like to clarify I am NOT calling for Frans head. In fact if it were up to me to choose to keep Fran or KF, KF would be out on the street.

At least Fran's program indicates upward improvement. KF is stagnant and if it weren't for the curiousity surrounding who the starting QB will be this upcoming season and how he will do I would barely be interested in this upcoming season. Football fatigue caused by too many mediocre seasons.

I bet there are some completely 180 answers if you know who ends up you know where.

While there is some truth to that, it is also true that a team that wins Madness has had to play better on that particular day six consecutive days against six different opponents--at least 5 of them being high quality to very good to elite basketball teams.

THAT is impressive.

So I am content to say that Madness produces the all-around best team.

I read somewhere that Nebraska is the only current power 5 school to never win a Madness game? Really, is that true?

Who is pulling for Nebraska next year as a 12 to beat 5 Florida State?
