I'll call Ferentz out right here and now. The guy is not a champion, he is content with mediocrity. His staff is mediocre, the athletes he recruits are mediocre, and the results prove it.
So sick of this same stupid crap year after year. Play down to the level of absolute garbage teams, never a killer instinct, just utterly embarrassing.

**** this coaching staff... downward spiral again... two years in a row, This coaching staff needs to be rejuvenated. Norm needs replacing and KOK needs to be ran out of town... KF needs to learn at a clinic on how to WIN a game not play to lose a game.
 
Couldn't have said it better myself. His coaching in close game is absolutely atrocious. How many times has this guy fallen asleep at the wheel? Way too many to count. The blowing of leads against far weaker opponents is an utter embarrassment.
 
The one thing I am so f*****in tired of is going brain dead when the obvious play is about to happen. The fake punts, on side kicks, on and on and on. You know in alot of professions, going to sleep or being mediocre often than not gets you fired. But not at Iowa. Dang it, no killer instinct at all
 
I know these men are 18-23 years old but the coaching staff isn't! Special teams year in and year out are terrible. Iowa are suckers for on-side kicks, fake punts, etc. every year! Where is the accountability??? Unfortunatly Kirk is loyal to a fault to his staff.
